Buffalo Days Buttons: On sale at participating businesses for $3. There is a raffle ticket attached to the button for a chance to win 6 money prizes: 1-­$500, 1-­$100, 4 ­-$50.

June 9 ­Saturday:
Buffalo Library – Petting Zoo 10:00 a.m.­12 noon and Centennial Open House 2 p.m. ­4 p.m.
Men’s Softball Tournament – at the Buffalo softball fields call Brian ­612­685­2428.

Men’s Softball Tournament – at the Buffalo softball fields, Brian ­612­685­2428.

Discover Art Downtown – Buffalo Art Guild is sponsoring an art treasure hunt for all ages all week long. Pick up a treasure map & instructions at the Chamber
 office after June 10, 2007 and use it to locate objects of art on display in the downtown shopping area. There will be 10 prizes given away.

Fly­In Breakfast – at Buffalo Airport, 8 a.m. ­12 noon, airplane rides available.

Classic Car Show – Sponsored by Wright County Car Club at the Rodeo Grounds. Buffalo Burgers and Bondo Bob spinning the “Oldies” from 9 a.m. ­3 p.m.

Craft Show – Sponsored by the Buffalo Jaycees at Buffalo Civic Center from 9 a.m. ­4 p.m., free admission. Jaycees ­763­682­0402.

Buffalo Community Orchestra Summer Pop – Free concert at Sturges Park. Bring your lawn chairs or blanket, starts at 7 p.m.


June 11 – Monday:
Buffalo Library Carnival – 1:00 ­3:00 p.m. Game booths, prizes and food.

Royalty Banquet – at Buffalo Evangelical Free Church at 5:30 p.m., cost is $15 per person.

Buffalo Library Book Sale ­- Book sale running from Monday to Saturday during library hours. Call ­763-­682-­2753.


June 12 – Tuesday:
Family Toy Workshop – at the Community Center at 9 a.m. Children invited to make a small wood vehicle. Tools & glue included. Free admission. Children must be accompanied by adult.

Pool Tournament – at the Community Center. Double elimination pool tournament. Registration 10 a.m., start at 10:30 a.m., $1 donation requested, prizes, all ages welcome. Register ­call 763-­682-­6036.

500 Tournament – at the Community Center at 1 p.m. Cost to play is $1.50. Prizes. You must register by Monday, June 11th to participate, call 763­682­6036.

KRWC’s Medallion Hunt – begins and continues until found, listen to KRWC/1360AM for clues or check www.krwc1360.com.

ECFE Children’s Event – at Sturges Park, starting at 10:30 a.m. Touch of Magic presents “Hilarious Hijinks with Half Pint & Oscar” Join us for physical comedy, humor and laughter with audience participation.

Buffalo Library Lunch with Master Gardeners -  ­ 11:30 a.m. ­1:30 p.m. Bring your lunch and join Sue Johnson and Susie Olson in meeting room A.

Concert in the Park – at the Sturges Park Band Shell, Contemporary Christian Music by Buffalo Covenant Church Worship Ministry at 7 p.m.

June 15 – Friday:
ECFE Children’s Event – at Sturges Park, 10:30 a.m. Jerry Frasier/Comedy Magician Jerry’s humorous magic will have you laughing out loud. Somebody from  the audience could even float on air.

Carnival – 12 noon at Cub. Bracelet Day, 1 ­5 p.m., cost $18.00

Beer Garden – Hosted by Buffalo Jaycees, Sturges Park, opens at 6 p.m.

KRWC Road Show – Sturges Park, music, games, prizes and fun! 6 ­8 p.m.

Live Band – Shag - will be in the Sturges Park Band Shell from 7 ­12 midnight.

June 16 – Saturday:
Smithsonian Exhibition -  ­Key Ingredients: America By Food grand opening from 8:30 a.m. ­4:30 p.m. at the Wright County Historical Society.

3 on 3 Basketball Tournament ­- Open to all, at BHS Activity Center. Registration forms at Chamber office or Buffalo Floral. For more info call Tim Speckle at 763-­682-­2010. Starts at 8 a.m. Entry fee is $50 per team before May 31, after $65 until June 11.

Cubmobile Races – Sponsored by Cub Scout Pack #358, on 1st Avenue by Buffalo Cinema, registration 8:30 a.m., starts at 9 a.m.

Free caps & tackle organizers while supplies last. Chance to win many prizes including a new bicycle. Kiddie Parade – Line up at the Buffalo Library at 9 a.m., (DOJO Karate participating), ends at Sturges Park.

Maribella, the Fairy Godmother – leads the kiddie parade, meet and greet with puppets and magic from 9:00 ­11 a.m.

Buffalo Heights Golf Course ­ - Children’s putting green activity, 9:00 ­2 p.m.

Sand Art – Children’s sand activity 9:30 – 1:30.

Buffalo Youth Hockey Association Demo – Children participation, 9 a.m. ­2 p.m.

Kiddie Roping – Buffalo Championship Rodeo teaching kids how to lasso, 9 a.m. ­12 noon.

Agility Dog Show – Westside Dogworks & Leader of the Pack demonstration from 9 ­12 noon.

Tynie The Clown – Balloon tying for children, 9:30 a.m. ­1:30 p.m.

Adoption Days – Variety of pets will be available for adoption from 9 ­2 p.m. Sponsored by Greater West Metro Humane Society.

Petting Zoo – 9 a.m. ­12:00 p.m.

Band Shell Events: Moonstruck School of Dance at 9:30 a.m., Barbara Lee’s Studio of Dance at 10:30 a.m., On Stage School of Dance at 11:30 p.m. , and Gym ­Nation at 12:30.


Saturday Evening
Ice Cream Social – at the Community Center. Before and after the parade. Serving root beer floats, burgers, hot dogs, etc.

BUFFALO DAYS PARADE– starts at 6:00 p.m. There will be approximately 100 units including 11 high school bands.

Beer Garden – Hosted by Buffalo Jaycees, Sturges Park, opens at 6:00 p.m.
Live Band – Jonah and the Whales will be playing in the Sturges Park Band Shell following the parade from 8pm- ­12 midnight.

June 17 – Sunday:

Buffalo 5K Run – at Sturges Park. Registration at 7:30 a.m., race starts at 8:30 a.m. Call Mark at 612-­245-­9725.

Continental Breakfast – at Sturges Park, 10:00 a.m., donation requested.

Community Worship Service – at Sturges Park Band Shell, 10:30 a.m.

Carnival – starts at 12 noon at Cub.


Royalty Coronation – at the Buffalo High School PAC at 6:00 p.m. Admission is $5 unless you have a button then it is $2.
